Why
should we run a Fun Casino?
Millions of people flock to casinos every year to try to beat the odds
and strike it rich. A Fun
Casino provides the thrill of gambling without the risk of losing actual
money. It also creates an
upbeat, interactive and welcoming environment that all may participate
in.
How many tables do we need?
Tables accommodate about 6-7 players at a time. Nightlife applies a
proven formula to
determine the quantity and types of games you’ll need. If your
situation changes, we’re flexible.
Can
we run some tables ourselves?
Of course. A Nightlife supervisor provides 30 minutes of instruction
prior to “opening” time.
After a few practical exercises, your people will be comfortable and
confident. Our guide
remains on-site to give tips and lend assistance.
What
is a relief dealer and how many would we need?
A Fun Casino is a fast paced affair with plenty of action and interactivity
amongst guests and
dealers. To keep the momentum humming, a relief dealer steps in when
his counterpart needs
a break. Usually, one relief dealer to every 5 tables is adequate.
Is
there a charge for delivery, set-up and pick-up?
Delivery, set-up and pick-up is based on the location of the event, the specific set-up
requirements and the number of tables you book.
You’ll find our rates to provide this service are very reasonable.
How much money do players receive to gamble
with?
Each guest or player is given $20-$30 dollars each and can bet from
$1-$5 at a time. If they
run out, we have ways they can earn more. Giving out too much too soon
can cause problems
as the need to gamble ceases to exist. Fun Casino events are designed
to be as authentic as
possible. Guests are informed as to minimum / maximum bets and game
rules by Nightlife’s
dealers.
What
are your exclusive games?
Almost everyone knows Blackjack - the world’s most popular casino
game – and a few
experienced players know Roulette and Craps. For inexperienced gamblers,
we’ve designed
a simplified version of these games: Mini Roulette, Mini Craps, Vegas
Wheel, Slot Dice and
Casino Bingo that can be learned quickly. As play continues, the “rookies”
gain confidence
and the event’s overall momentum increases dramatically.
What
about slot machines?
Slots are available and can add to the casino atmosphere. However, they
allow only a single
player at a time whereas a table accommodates up to seven.
Do
we want Hold’em Poker?
This is a more involved, individualist and time-consuming game. If there
are no spouses
present, ‘Hold’em Poker’ is very popular. If there
are, he or she may feel neglected.
Why
do people cash in their chips for draw tickets?
Not every guest will gamble so we provide them a means of staying involved
via their eligibility
to win prizes. This principle also applies to less experienced gamblers
who may get
discouraged. Chips are exchanged for draw tickets and everyone is qualified
to win.
If people have to leave before the prizes are drawn, they can write
their name on the back of
the ticket or leave them with a friend.
How
many prizes do we need?
We recommend one prize for every 10 to 20 quests. To get people’s
blood moving, plan on
having at least one (1) valuable grand prize.
How
much space is needed?
Our set-up is modular and adapts easily to available space. To capitalize
on the energy
created, it’s best to have all the tables in the same area. A
circle is best. We calculate the
number of tables required using the amount of space and the type of
activity desired. A free
site inspection is done, if necessary.
What
are the client’s responsibilities?
To deliver the prizes to the event’s location. Nightlife staff
and the Emcee take it from there –
all the way to the last draw. On occasion, we may require you to distribute
chips or coupons to
your guests. To save money, you may choose a few “Do it yourself”
tables.
How
much time does the Fun Casino run for?
Usually 2.5 to 3 hours of gambling is about right. However, shorter
and longer events can be
arranged.
Do
we need an Emcee and background music?
Emcees take the onus off event organizers in terms of keeping the atmosphere
upbeat. They
can explain game rules, what comes next and keep people motivated, especially
those who
have lost all their money and want more. Having an experienced Emcee
orchestrate the final
prize draw ensures your event ends on a high note. Music adds to the
shared common
experience and gives those not participating something to listen to.
What
can people do if all tables are busy?
If an Emcee is present, the “Post-Time horse race” game
can be run. It accommodates an
unlimited number of players and solves space or budget dilemmas.
Is
any other entertainment required?
Depending on the event planned, several options can heighten your enjoyment:
• A talented Emcee combining showmanship and flair can act as
a motivator to get everyone
mixing and playing and laughing. He can be a Disc Jockey
for listening and dancing pleasure
or run Karaoke alongside the gambling activity
• A fabulous singer or celebrity impersonator can perform musical
sets during dinner and/or
the casino
